Maps Recommendation

FA clan has a list of urt maps with previews.. I don't know whether should I select a few maps to recommend since everybody has different taste so I am going to paste the link here. If anyone has time, feel free to go take a look. You can then share your opinions in this thread.

I would appreciate suggestions from the community. However, I can make a few choices myself and see how they go.

Hi, not a clan member, so not sure how much weight my opinion holds, but I've played a good number of these maps, and I frequent your server, so I figured I would give my two cents.

are all pretty decent maps that are worth a look. Some are obviously better than others, and Ive only played ctf on the vast majority. Anyway, hope this helps. Also, please never take orbital out of rotation

Some of those I don't know, but I'd wipe doom, paris and shahideen from that list.

Don't particularly like the Terrorism ones either, but I could at least tolerate them. The 3 I listed would make me !rq every time though.

Since DB is active again, please kindly review the current map cycle and add new maps. I am sure other regulars on DB have interesting ideas on what maps to add. Playing custom maps all the time makes me lose my cuteness.

We need a standard Map cycle, but we can't please everyone.

I'm pre sure everyone would agree on the basic maps such as:

Casa
Turnpike
Tetris
Sanc
Prague
Boxtrot

I think those are our default maps and won't be removed.
However, I need to find some more.
I need suggestions. Not a whole map list, just a couple of maps for trial

I uploaded a folder that contains the maps I choose. Try reviewing Barns, WinterAssault and Guerrilla first. They are my personal favourites.

Barns = No.
Haven't tried the other two. Just sayin though, Barns is camp city. It's more camp city than Boxtrot, which again is awful along with Tetris.

Tetris is a good map. I used to hate Boxtrot but starts to like it now. Campers can be annoying sometimes but just take it as a challenge to kill them quickly. If you can't, it means you need to spend more time playing on DB

No. It's ludicrous to run around on a stupid map looking for one person camping.

For the reason that our server made these maps famous pretty much, and majority of the community either like or have a neutral say on those maps, they shall remain.

My personal opinion, I don't like barn but it could work. I'll test soon enough (:

I like the current maps as well. However, it you ask any regulars in this server how the maps are, they will give a thumbs down even though they like it before. Some maps should stay while a few should go. My opinion is to have small and large maps. Small maps can refer to maps that the match end very quickly.

Barn used to be in the rotation Rev. It got booted shortly after.
